  1. That's a great point, but some people think the use of that word is accurate. Personally, I consider everyone equal and believe in rights for all. However, we know that the U.S. is far from equal. I'm unsure if you listened to the show or not, but even some of my callers think that gays already have all of the rights that they "deserve." In fact, a better show to listen to is "Gay: Born That Way or Lifestyle." The dialogue from that show really touches on opinions from both sides of the fence.

  2. Both sides of the fence? I'm truly sick of having my "lifestyle" discussed by people who have no realistic perception of such things, and continue to group us together like cattle. I know what I am, we have always been, we always will be, our love is the same, our love is natural. In the animal kingdom, everywhere, throughout history. We are of every profession, we fight your wars, plan your weddings, raise your unwanted children, just let us settle down and get on with it please.

    1. Yes, "both sides of the fence." Regardless of how you feel, there are people who are oppose anything relating to LGBT. That would be the other side of the fence. As for feeling grouped "like cattle," blacks, women, Latinos, disabled and other minorities can all relate to the feeling. It's not new. It's what is done in this country. Is it right? Absolutely not. But, it is reality. All non-straight whites get discussed in some shape, form or fashion. I just wish that I could have had someone from the LGBT community to come on this particular show to explain to the callers why they absolutely deserve equality.

      Thanks for the comment.
