Who is going where?

Stream the show here!

The Show Legends and I give our two cents as the first round of the NFL draft unfolds. As the picks are made, we'll chime in with our thoughts on the player, how he hurts/helps the team, and more!

  • Did the Rams give up too much for the #1 pick?
  • Are the Eagles just as stupid for giving up what they did for the #2 pick?
  • What will the Panthers do now that Josh Norman is gone?
  • Do the Broncos have a plan to replace Peyton Manning with a viable QB?
We'll see what happens as the Draft is broken down on Zone Coverage. "Talk sports from the couch!"
Scheduled for 180 mins.

T2Q Celebrates Prince

Tue., Apr. 26th @ 9 PM Eastern.

Sometimes it snows in April...

Stream the show here!

Many great musical artists have come and gone in my life, but this one feels different.  I enjoyed Luther.  I adored Whitney.  I was awed by Michael.  But none of them delivered art to my senses like Prince.  Not just music, but fashion, color, acting, and dancing.  Prince was a multi-tooled performer and to think that his talents are gone forever is such a shame.

This is a man who spent almost 40 years of his life bringing us music that we've dance to, nodded our heads to, and definitely made love to.  He went from being labeled as a "freak" and "weirdo" in the late 70's/early 80's to literally being considered royalty just a decade later.

Tonight, we'll discuss how his talents impacted us all as we take one last look at the life of Prince.  The guy who was my favorite living music artist.

All of this and more on the Talk 2 Q Radio Show!  "No experts.  Just opinions.  And a whole lot of Prince."

Scheduled for 45-60 mins.

ZC: #NBA #Playoffs, Round 1

Wed., Apr. 20th @ 9 PM Eastern.
Who ya got?

Stream the show here!

The first round of the NBA playoffs is on the way. What was once an exciting time of the year for me has turned into a long wait to see some real basketball. Before the NBA decided to extend every series to the best 4-out-7, the first round of basketball was once exciting to watch.

When it was the best 2 out of 3 series, you had at least an opportunity for the underdog to score an upset. Not now. The underdog just isn't going to beat a better team 4 out of 7 times. The chance for the upset is all but eliminated.

So, the first round of the playoffs can sometimes be boring outside of the 4 seed and 5 seed matchups and maybe a 3 and 6 matchup. But the Show Legends and I will discuss what we've seen so far along with any other sporting news we can find.

#T2Q 4.19.16 - Likable Candidates, Valuing Relationships & More!

Tue., Apr. 19th @ 9 PM Eastern.
Does a presidential candidate have to be just like you?

Stream the show here!

Last weekend, Hillary Clinton beat some dudes in a game of dominoes in Harlem. Bernie Sanders took a NYC subway the week prior. All of these things just to say "hey, I'm just a normal citizen just like you!"

Does it work? Do you buy into the pandering or does it make you sick to your stomach?

Also on the show: do you value relationships? Not just with a significant other, but everyone you come into contact with regularly?

Too often people take relationships for granted. Especially with friends, family, neighbors, etc. Yet we complain when we someone doesn't care about us, our loved ones, or our property. If the mindset is to intentionally keep your circle small, then why should anyone care about you and yours?

We'll discuss what some people consider a "warped mindset" and more on the Talk 2 Q Radio Show! "No experts. Just opinions."

Zone Coverage Quickie! #Rams #Kobe #GSW

Thu., Apr. 14th @ 9:30 PM Eastern.
Kobe goes nuts and so did the Rams, but one is good and the other is questionable.

Stream the show here!

There was too much going on in the sports world to leave it on hold until next week!  The Show Legends and I had to take the time to break down everything that happened in the last 24 hours in the world of sports.  What I thought was going to be a slow few days until the NBA Playoffs started on Saturday, it appears that I was incorrect!
  • Kobe goes for 60 points.  What does it mean for his legacy to slay on his way out the door?
  • Golden State wins #73.  Does it matter if they don't win another championship this year?
  • The Rams traded everything except their horns to the Titans for the #1 pick in April 28th's draft.  What could they possibly want that would make them give up the farm?
We'll discuss all of that and more on this Zone Coverage Quickie on T2Q!  "Talk sports from the couch!"

ZC: Kobe's Last Hurrah

Wed., Apr. 13th @ 9 PM Eastern.
Kobe is retiring.  Will Manny?

Stream the show here!

Kobe Bean Bryant.  #8.  #24.  The Black Mamba.  Call him what you want, but now you can call him "Retired."  Tonight is the last game of his 20 year career with the Los Angeles Lakers.  The Show Legends will discuss his career and make the obligatory comparisons to other players of the past.  Mainly Michael Jordan.

Manny Pacquiao appeared to have little problems with Timothy Bradley in last Saturday's Pay Per View fight.  The fight wasn't worth the money and boxing needs to address that.  However, as far as the Pacman goes, he looked good enough for people to speculate that he could take on a couple of more fights.  Will he truly retire?

The NBA season ends tonight and the Playoffs start Saturday.  We'll take a brief overview of the upcoming postseason and what some of the teams, who didn't make the playoffs, need to do.

These things and more as Zone Coverage returns to the Talk 2 Q Radio Show!  "Talk sports fom the couch!"

#T2Q: Apr. 12, 2016 - #Zika, 1st Dates, & Self-Driving Cars

Tue., Apr. 12th @ 9 PM Eastern.
Tonight, on T2Q...

Stream the show here!

The Zika virus is starting to gain a little momentum in the media.  Is it hype or is it something we should pay attention to when we hear someone speaking about it?  The problem with the media's coverage is that we've seen it all before.  Sure, people get horrible viruses like these and suffer through tragedies.  But has it ever been on the magnitude as the news media paints it?  I'll ask my callers if they're concerned with the Zika virus and if so, why?

You're on a date with your significant other at a casino.  Your mate gives you $100 to play with and you win $1500.  Do you pay any of it back?  Relationship scenarios tonight on T2Q.

Lastly, a Ford Fusion drove through the state of Arizona at night to test it's reliability.  It passed.  How do you feel?  Are we ready for cars to do all of the work while we sit back and text?  How comfortable are you with your vehicle possibly being on auto-pilot some day?

These things and more on the Talk 2 Q Radio Show!  "No experts.  Just opinions."

ZC: Pacquiao vs. Bradley III

Wed., Apr. 6th @ 9 PM Eastern.
Will you watch Pacman's last hurrah?

Stream the show here!

The Young Brothers join me to discuss the closing of Manny Pacquiao's hall of fame career.  Is this truly his last fight?  Only time will tell, but I'm guessing that this will be it for the Filipino born fighter.

He doesn't appear to have the interest that he once did and age is definitely starting to become a factor.

On tonight's show, we'll discuss the interest in the fight.  Did people really want to see a 3rd matchup between these two?  Especially since so many people think that Manny won the first two anyway.  I'll ask my Show Legends who they would have rather seen Pacman fight other than Timothy Bradley.

Also on the show, we'll wrap up the Villanova/North Carolina final, some NBA talk, and anything else sports related as Zone Coverage returns to T2Q!

#T2Q: Apr. 5th, 2016 - Religious Freedom, Clubbing Parent, & Texas Jails

Tue., Apr. 5th @ 9 PM Eastern.
How soon should you club after having a baby?

Stream the show here!

Today, Mississippi governor, Phil Bryant, signed House Bill 1523.  It's been dubbed the "Religious Freedom Bill" as it was designed to essentially "protect" people from government interference at the refusal to go against their religious beliefs.  An example of that is a church refusing to host a wedding for a gay couple.

Do we really know what's in the bill or is everyone just doing like the media and speculating based on certain talking points?  We'll discuss that tonight!

There was a recent incident with singer Ne-Yo and his wife, Crystal Renay.  A week after she gave birth, she took photos of her partying with her friends.

She was criticized on social media for doing so soon after child birth.  Is there a certain time period one must wait after child birth to "get their groove on"?  We'll discuss!

In Texas, the private prisons want to set up video chatting to eliminate the need for prison guards who watch face-to-face visits.  They want to charge $1 per minute to video chat with a prisoner.  Is that taking advantage of the citizens (especially since most jailed relatives probably come from poverty)?  Should it be optional instead of the only way a family can communicate with someone who is locked up?

These things and more on the Talk 2 Q Radio Show!  "No experts.  Just opinions."
