Props to Archie & Mishivia!

Congrats to Mishivia and Archie!
There's no show this week, people!  I'll be checking out my god son at his first football game of the year.  He's really excited and I'm going to be there to show him my support.

However, I wanted to take the time to send my congratulations to two Show Legends who recently tied the knot!

Archie and Mishivia aka Gigglebox, made it official and I couldn't be happier for them.  That's two Show Legend husband/wife teams (Ray/Amanda)!

It makes me wonder what Robin and Buck are waiting on?  They've been procrastinating that cross country relationship long enough.

Again, the show will take the week off, but I will return with new topics and new sponsors next week!

The Talk 2 Q Radio Show and Zone Coverage will return on September 6th and 7th, respectively, at 9 PM Eastern Time!  Be there!

On this podcast, I have a 1-on-1 discussion with blogger and author, Jamell Crouthers.  We discuss a few things on the show, but mostly about his view of the world and how he hopes to influence change.  His book, The World We Live In: A Poetry Book on Societal Issues, looks to do just that!

Available now on AmazonBarnes & Noble, and other locations, this book focuses on fictional characters and chronicles their life experiences.  Each person details an experience that changed and impacted them in ways they never considered.  There are only names and no race or ethnicity mentioned in this book.  The reason being that Jamell wants the readers to understand and relate to their experiences as human beings.

Listen to my interview with him as I go Q-on-1 on the Talk 2 Q Radio Show!

Why Take Cheaters Back?

Join us live at Tuesday, August 23rd @ 9 PM Eastern.
Why do we give cheaters 2nd and 3rd chances?

Stream the show here!

Last week, we discussed why there are so many cheaters in society these days.  Why so many men and women choose to have their cakes and eat it, too.  Cheaters are cowards who want to be able to have stability at home while they flirt with potential upgrades.  Some have no intention of ever upgrading at all.

What makes a person so bold as to risk their relationship by cheating?  Not fearing that they're going to lose what they have at home is what does it.

We're a 2nd chance society.  We live to forgive and forget when it comes to anything from political scandals to bad boy/girl celebrity antics.  Should we do the same when it comes to being cheated on?  Is that what encourages cheaters to continue?  Knowing that they'll get two or three opportunities to "make it up" to their mate?

These things and more on the Talk 2 Q Radio Show!  "No experts.  Just opinions."

2016 #NFL Preseason Week 1

Wednesday, August 17th @ 9 PM Eastern.
Finally!  We got to see some football over the past week.

Stream the show here!

After the Hall of Shame Game fiasco, the NFL finally gets some football on the air!  It was exciting to finally see some real hitting albeit in exhibition play.

  • Is Dak Prescott a sufficient backup for Dallas?
  • Is RG III's performance a big deal or just preseason?
  • What did the Show Legends think of their team's performance?

We'll also discuss the Olympics.  After Usain Bolt did his thing once again, it forces me to ask the question: is he the greatest Olympian of all-time?  Is it Michael Phelps?  Carl Lewis?  I'll poll my Show Legends to see what they think!

These things and more as Zone Coverage returns to T2Q!  "Talk sports from the couch!"

Cheating is the New Norm

Join us live on Tuesday, August 16th @ 9 PM Eastern.
Do you realize just how many people cheat these days?

Stream the show here!

If you sat down and thought really hard about it, then how many happy couples do you actually know?  One?  Two?  Three, if you really thought long enough?  I know a lot of people, but I don't know too many happy couples.

Of course, the definition of "happy" varies from person-to-person.  Some people deal with liars, cheaters, and abusers, but will be quick to tell you that they're "happy".  My definition is someone in an uplifting, loving relationship, where both parties look to build rather than tear down.

I've seen people in relationships/marriages systematically tear down their significant other piece-by-piece.  Husbands who won't be an active parent to their children.  Women who can't keep negativity out of their mouths.  I've looked at couples and wondered how they even became a couple on the first place!

It's because of that, cheating is the new norm.  Because one person couldn't possibly satisfy us, right?

We get one person for dates, one person to bail us out financially, one person for sex, one person for vacations, and so on.  Because we've been told that we can "have it all" when that's not usually the case.

Tonight, we'll discuss why people generally suck when it comes to modern day relationships.  Also on the show, is the Olympics temporarily bringing the U,S,. closer together or are we still a complete racist society?

All of these things and more on the Talk 2 Q Radio Show!  "No experts.  "Just opinions."

ZC: #Preseason #NFL Games Galore!

Join live on Wed., August 10th @ 9 PM Eastern.
Preseason games galore starting tomorrow!

Stream the show here!

Okay, so the Hall of Fame Game that never happened was a disappointed.  The NFL couldn't get its act together in Canton, OH in order to perform for the fans.  The fans were refunded game tickets, but all of the hotel, rental, etc., money they have to eat.

That's the cost of buying tickets to an event.  Sometimes things get canceled.

Who's to blame for the cancellation?  The NFL?  Canton, OH?  Who?

Josh Norman accept a job with FOX Sports to do their pre-game show on Sundays.  However, he forgot to tell his head coach that he accepted the job.  Doh!

What would you do if you were Coach Gruden?  Let him keep the job?  Make him quit?

The Show Legends and I will break down the NFL news we've received so far and what we expect from our favorite teams.

We'll also talk about the NBA, the Olympics, and more as Zone Coverage returns to T2Q!  "Talk sports from the couch!"

#T2Q 8.9.16 - Revealing Secrets in Relationships

Join live on Tuesday, August 9th @ 9 PM Eastern.
Some things should be kept under wraps...

Stream the show here!

No one is perfect.  We all have some things about our past that we wish we could change (some much worse than others).  But when we approach new relationships, we (hope to) do so with a clean slate.  It's all about the new and not the old, right?

However, are there certain things that your new boo should know before things get a little too serious?  Maybe there's something about your past that could affect your future.  A criminal background, an immoral act, or something of that nature.  Is it important that the information comes from you and not from someone else?  What if it never comes up?

Tonight, I'll be asking my Show Legends some questions surrounding different scenarios to get their two cents on it.

Also on the show, would The Purge work in the United States?  Yeah, I know that it's a crazy question, but would some form of "cleansing" remove some bad elements from the population?  I'll throw some questions at the callers about how to handle criminal behavior.

All these things and more on the Talk 2 Q Radio Show!  "No experts.  Just opinions."

ZC: #NFL Training Camps

Thursday, August 4th @ 9 PM Eastern.
I'll be busy for the next 26 Sundays...

Stream the show here!

The NFL season is back!  Sunday marks yet another kickoff to the greatest sports in the United States!  A month of Preseason football is upon us before the real thing pops off in September.  I'll be joined by a special guest to discuss the rigors of training camps for football and scouting.

His name is Lou Rossi and he's a former OL/DL coach from the AFL and CFL scout.  I'll ask him about the in's and out's of training camp and installing schemes.

Also on the show, we'll discuss the return of Manny Pacquiao. Do you we care that he's fighting Jessie Vargas in November? I don't.

Lastly, we will do some Who Am I? Trivia as the callers try to guess the sports figure I'm describing. All of these things and more as Zone Coverage returns to T2Q! "Talk sports from the couch!"

#T2Q 8.2.16 - School Blues & Malia Jams

Join live on Tuesday, August 2nd @ 9 PM Eastern.
It's that time of the year again!

Stream the show here!

Back to school

It's that time of the year again when parents scramble to get their kids situated for school. Not only do they have to go through the headache of registration, but they also have to get school clothes and supplies.

Are parents under pressure to get their kids brand name items?  Are they trying to help their children avoid the "WHAT ARE THOSE?" chants from bullies?  And what about the school supplies required by the educators?  Are they actually going to be used?  Are you buying for your kid or for some kid whose parents didn't bother to buy their kids their own?

Malia does Lollapalooza

After almost 8 years of being cooped up in the White House, Malia gets a little room to be a teen ager and TMZ is there to catch her.  Instead of being at the Democratic National Convention, she was at Lollapalooza doing some of the worst dancing I've seen in quite some time.

The trolls are out in full force to criticize her not being there for Hillary.  Fair or foul?

These things and more on the Talk 2 Q Radio Show!  "No experts.  Just opinions."
