#T2Q Welcomes Shae Primus!

Shae joins T2Q on Tue., Jan. 31st @ 9 PM ET! (347) 202-0215
I'm joined by the Atlanta matchmaker to discuss black women and dating.

Stream the show here!

Shae Primus is a certified matchmaker and dating coach at Middle Class Matchmaker.  I recently came across something that was posted in a group about her opinion on black women and dating.  The post stated that black women need to stop excluding options when it comes to love.

And that exclusion includes men who may experienced same-sex relationships.

We've had the discussion before on the show and many women have stated that they would not give a man a chance to date them if he's had same-sex relationships in the past.  Shae believes that women should dig deeper to find out if those tendencies are truly a thing of that guy's past or not before writing him off.

She also mentioned not having a car, making enough money, or having too many children shouldn't be a deterrent either.  Doing so could have you missing out on a blessing like a Barrack Obama or Denzel Washington.  Michelle and Pauletta invested in their men and they've been winning ever since.

I'll ask Shae about how she got started in her career and what her goal is ultimately.  Then we'll get into some of her thoughts on what black women can do to enhance their opportunities at finding love.

All of these things and more on the Talk 2 Q Radio Show!  "No experts.  Just opinions."

OC Lou Rossi Joins ZC! / #NFL Conference 2017

Thu., Jan. 25th @ 9 PM ET. (347) 202-0215 to listen!
Tonight, you'll get a 2-for-1 on Zone Coverage!

Stream the show here!

I'm rejoined by the offensive coordinator of the new Cam-Am Indoor football team, Niagara Spartans, Lou Rossi!  Lou will mix it up with me and the Show Legends to discuss the newly formed league and what to expect from their inaugural season in 2017.

After the interview with Lou, the Show Legends and I will break down the AFC and NFC Conference Championships.

Neither game was what I would consider a good game, but the winning teams put on amazing offense displays of power that we can look forward to in February.

The Steelers weren't able to get to Tom Brady like they planned and it costed them.  Chris Hogan made a name for himself as he ran wild through the Steelers zone defense.  Could Pittsburgh have done anything differently that could have led to the "W"?

The Packers used up all of their magic dust on the Cowboys last week because they had nothing left for Atlanta.  Matt Ryan threw for 2 miles and most of it went to Julio Jones who stiff-armed Packer DB's like Marshawn Lynch.  Did the injuries catch up with the Pack or did the offense let them down?

All of these things and more as Zone Coverage returns to T2Q!  "Talk sports from the couch!"

Trump Is In. Now What?

Tue., Jan. 24th @ 9 PM EDT. Listen at (347) 202-0215.
Donald J. Trump became the 45th POTUS last Friday and the country divided even more. What now?

Stream the show here!

Donald Trump officially took over the @POTUS Twitter account that President Obama held onto for the last 8 years.  The Inauguration is over and now the work starts.  Trump is in the White House and it's time to get things moving.  Just how easy will that be though?

Trump starts his presidency with the lowest entering approval rating of all-time (40%).  The difference between the crowd in 2009 and today was staggering.  Quite a few politicians also decided to boycott his swearing in ceremony to show their lack of support.

How much can Trump get done with more than half the country against him?  And if everyone is pulling for him to fail, then what will the country look like by the time the next election comes about in 2020.

#NFL Divisional 2017

Wed., Jan. 18th @ 9 PM EDT. Call (347) 202-0215.
We're down to the final four playoff teams in what's shaping up to be a potentially offensively explosive Super Bowl!

Stream the show here!

In the words of Stephen A. Smith, "Aaron Rodgers is a bad man!"  Well, he made a believer out of me.  I didn't think that he could single-handedly beat Dallas and I was right.  He couldn't.  But he and Jared Cook could.

The Steelers kicked their way past the Chiefs, but not without some controversy involved.  The referees were the center of attention down the stretch and we'll discuss the call they made and the call(s) they didn't make.

The Falcons won convincingly against the Seahawks.  It's evident that Seattle needs to do something about their minimum wage offensive line before they get Russell Wilson killed.  Matty Ice looked like the player the Falcons wanted when they drafted him years ago.  They'll be a tough out.

The Patriots and Texans game was about as interesting as watching a roach in a sticky trap.  You know that it's a matter of time before the inevitable happens.  How much magic does Tom Brady have left in him?

All of these things and more as Zone Coverage returns to T2Q!  "Talk sports from the couch!"

#NFL WildCard 2017

Wed., Jan. 11th @ 9 PM EDT. Join at (347) 202-0215.
The first round of the playoffs are over and now there are 8 teams left.

Stream the show here!

Pittsburgh made quick work of the Dolphins as Antonio Brown and Le'Veon Bell had full game statistics by the middle of the 2nd quarter.  Matt Moore did what he could, but he was no match for the Pittsburgh pass rush.  Too many turnovers proved to be costly for Miami as they're sent home fishing the first weekend of the playoffs.

Seattle had no trouble with Detroit.  Matt Stafford was unable to generate any offensive momentum as the Seahawks brought the lumber on defense.  Despite missing Earl Thomas, the Seahawks held their own against three legitimate WR's for the Lions.

The Texans were too much for the Raiders.  Oakland really missed Derek Carr as their 3rd string QB, Connor Cook, just didn't have the experience to deal with the Texans and their schemes.  He didn't move his feet and appeared to underestimate the speed of the Texans.

The Packers mollywhopped the Giants in what was a passing exhibit put on my Aaron Rodgers.  The Giants defense was no match for Green Bay as they cut right through them.  The Giants WRs didn't help themselves by posting a photo of them on the beach last week on their off day.  Did it hurt anything?  We'll never know for sure, but Victor Cruz and Odell Beckham, Jr. combined for 7 catches and 58 yards.

We'll discuss that and more as Zone Coverage returns to T2Q!  "Talk sports from the couch!"

Do You Have Bad Luck or Make Bad Decisions?

Tue., Jan. 10th @ 9:30 PM EDT. Listen at (347) 202-0215.
Seems like every day "Friday the 13th" for you?  Why is that?

Stream the show here!

Have you ever wondered why some people seem to have a cloud of gloom and doom surrounding them?  It seems like bad things just continue to happen to them.

What's the cause of it?  Do you believe that a person can simply be cursed and have life rain on their parade on a regular basis?  Or are they a glutton for punishment and filling their life with one bad decision after another?

Tonight, I'll ask some questions and give some scenarios about how the decisions we make can change our lives as well as how just some bad luck can be a difference, too.

  • An unplanned pregnancy: bad luck or bad decision?
  • Car trouble: bad luck or bad decision?
  • Being single: bad luck or bad decision?

These things and more on the Talk 2 Q Radio Show!  "No experts.  Just opinions."

#NFL Week 17 2016

Wed., Jan. 4th @ 9 PM EDT. (347) 202-0215 to join!
The NFL regular season has finally come to an end...

Stream the show here!

Well, after 17 weeks of an exciting season, the regular season is over.  12 teams are left standing for the opportunity to hoist the Lombardi trophy in February.  Six teams are back to try it again after coming up short last season.

Matchups are key in this postseason.  Certain lower seeded teams are more than capable of going into someone's home and stealing a victory this weekend.  The Show Legends and I won't spend much time wrapping up the regular season, but will instead, focus on the upcoming weekend.  It's win or go home time in the NFL now!

NFC Matchups

6 Detroit vs. 3 Seattle
5 NY Giants vs. 4 Green Bay

AFC Matchups

6 Miami vs. 3 Pittsburgh
5 Oakland vs. 4 Houston

We will also take a glance at some of our preseason predictions to see how that went.  All of this and more as Zone Coverage continues to roll on T2Q!  "Talk sports from the couch!"

Which New Year's Resolutions Will Be Broken?

Tue., Jan. 3rd @ 9 PM ET. Call (347) 202-0215 to join.
Do we lie to ourselves every New Year's Eve?

Stream the show here!

2016 is out and 2017 is in.  We all should be extremely thankful to see the new year because quite a few people did not.  However, this is a time of the year when people in the U.S. vow to "get their life right"!

I'm going to eat better.  I'm going to exercise more.  I'm going to date more.

We've heard it all before.  How many of us actually attempt to do any of the things we commit to improve upon?  Why do some of us fall by the wayside, some much quicker than others?

Tonight, we'll discuss some of the lies we tell every December 31st on the Talk 2 Q Radio Show!  "No experts.  Just opinions."
