#T2Q: Mar. 29, 2016 - #Trump, Jerks, & #FreeSpeech

Thu., Mar. 31st @ 9 PM Eastern.
This podcast was recorded as part of a live show on Tuesday, March 29th. Unless you listened to the show live, you didn't hear this part air after my interview with teen activist, Morgan McCane.

Stream the podcast here!

So, if you missed it then, hear it now on this special podcast edition of T2Q!

I ask Buck and Crystal about an incident at Georgia's Emory University. Someone wrote "Trump 2016" in chalk all over campus. The result: a lot of people stated that this made this uncomfortable and that they felt unsafe on campus. Justified for someone to react that way or are we just being hyper sensitive in society today?

Also on the show, when did exercising your opinion turn into being a jerk? It's very difficult to state your case of facts in an argument when people are turning a debate into a personal attack on you. Why do disagreements get so personal these days?

Lastly, what happened to free speech on college campuses? What was once a haven to speak your mind has turned into Censorship University.

We'll get into all of this and more on the Talk 2 Q Radio Show! "No experts. Just opinions."

Scheduled for 51 mins.

March Madness is the best post season event since its creation.  One and done is the most exciting method of post season play there is.  Lose and go home.

Did Coach K go too far in chastising Oregon's Dillon Brooks after their game last weekend?
Have I underestimated Jim Boeheim as a coach?

Carmelo Anthony was chilling on court when a kid ran out and hugged him.  How do you feel about the boy running on the court in the middle of a game to meet his idol: fair or foul?

These things and more we tackle Zone Coverage on T2Q!  "Talk sports from the couch!"

Talk 2 Morgan McCane #PullEmUp

Tue., Mar. 29th at 9 PM Eastern.
Fellas!  Morgan says "stop saggin'!"

Stream the show here!

While visiting one of their favorite fast food restaurants, two sisters observed a young man walking in the mall, sagging his pants which revealed his underwear. One sister was so disgusted with seeing this awful site that she immediately lost her appetite and couldn’t finish her meal. It was at that table in the food court at a mall in Mobile, Alabama that G.A.B.S. was formed.

The sisters believed that they could use their gift of “gab” to start a conversation with other girls, and those girls could have a conversation with other girls, and so on, about working together to end this disgusting sagging pants epidemic. They were convinced that if enough girls were able to band together, through their mutual dislike of seeing boys sagging, they could get them to “pull ‘em up”.

Bringing girls of all ages together to have a conversation about this horrible fashion fad, how it’s affecting our community, and what we can do to reverse this fashion trend is the first step toward making a change.

I welcome Morgan McCane and her parents to the show to discuss how G.A.B.S. came to be and where they want to see it go.

Does an engagement ring make a person an expert in relationships?

Listen to the show here!

Tonight on T2Q, the live show is back and we're discussing a couple of current event topics as well as a relationship discussion.

Engagment rings! What do they symbolize to you? Do they show the prelude to a "forever after" situation? Do the entitle the person wearing it to look down on those who don't?

Also on the show, a 20-something American steals something in North Korea as a challenge and gets caught. The thing is: in North Korea, their legal system doesn't play around like we do here in the United States. The guy got 15 years of hard labor and now people in the U.S. are yelling "foul!" Fair or foul?

Who was Jack the Ripper?

Stream the podcast here!

We discuss one of the most famous serial killers of all-time, Jack the Ripper, and a convention that was created to discuss the unsolved mystery around him and more. I welcome Christopher George (Baltimore, MD) and Robert Anderson (New York) to the Talk 2 Q Radio Show podcast.

I'm joined by two gentleman who have taken the discussions about a mysterious serial killer from the late 1800's and have built that into a convention that some of you can attend April 8th-10th in Baltimore, Maryland.

* Deadline to get tickets is Thu., March 31st *

"Jack the Ripper" is the popular name given to a serial killer who killed a number of prostitutes in the East End of London in 1888. The name originates from a letter written by someone who claimed to be the killer published at the time of the murders. He was not the first serial killer, but he was probably the first to appear in a large metropolis at a time when the general populace had become literate and the press was a force for social change.

The press was also partly responsible for creating many myths surrounding the Ripper and ended up turning a sad killer of women into a "bogey man", who has now become one of the most romantic figures in history. The Ripper was never caught and it is the mysteries surrounding this killer that both add to the romance of the story and creating an intellectual puzzle that people still want to solve.

Scheduled for 43 mins.

I chat with a Show Legend about her newest book!

It was a long time coming, but I took advantage of the opportunity to welcome on writing talent, Crystal Hickerson! When she's not being the hostess of The Crystal Show and a Show Legend on my show, she's deep off into writing. I bring her on today to discuss her 4th novel, "The Volunteer."

"The Volunteer" follows Jenna Steele, a woman whose mother died on hospice. She was compelled to give back, so she donated to a local hospice, however that was not enough for her. Jenna decided to volunteer and this is where her emotional journey begins.

If you ever wanted to know what it would be like to volunteer for hospice, this novel will take behind the scenes and give you an inside peek into the real world of hospice volunteering.

Not only will you discover the highs and lows of a volunteer but also the often unseen world of the managers who supervise them.

Sam Bradford signs a two year deal with the Eagles. Mario Williams gets released by the Bills. Super Bowl MVP, Von Miller, gets franchised by the Broncos. We'll also discuss the NFL Combine and the Draft in late April.

On the NBA front, is Steph Curry the best shooter ever? OKC and Golden State delivered one of the most exciting non-playoff games that I've ever seen last week. It all ended when Steph dropped a 32-footer with little time left to win the game. How does he compare to Reggie Miller, World B. Free, Bernard King and other great shooters?
