Crazy Stories from Google

Sun., Jun. 29th @ 10 PM EDT

Stream the show here

I get a ton of news items in my RSS feed every day. Most of it probably should not be considered as "news," but I'm not sure what else to call it without having to censor myself. On tonight's show, we'll go through some headlines that caught my eye over the past few weeks. Most of them will probably involve disputes of some sort involving money. After all, that's what makes the world go 'round, right? SMH.

  • Waffle House waitress was denied a $1,000 tip from her employer.
  • Hair stylist cuts braids out of child's hair due to mom's non-payment.
  • Should a school superintendent's child attend the school system in which the superintendent presides?

Will Lebron James Leave Miami? #NBA

Wed., Jun. 25th @ 9 PM EDT

Stream the show here

The King has left the building... Or has he? Lebron James has decided to opt out of the final year of his contract with the Miami Heat. But, why?

People are already speculating and having flashbacks to "The Decision." The memes are already taking off on IG, Twitter, and FB showing Lebron getting out of town or "these pros ain't loyal."

Well, opting out of a contract doesn't automatically mean that you're leaving. It can mean quite a few things and we'll speculate on them tonight:

  • Was this done to resign for less money so that Miami can afford to bring in other players (maybe Melo or Love)?
  • Was this done to get another maximum allowed contract to pad his bank account?
  • Was it to get leverage over the team to facilitate which players he wants them to pursue at the threat of leaving?
  • Was it done for him to go back to Cleveland or maybe to NY or LA?
These things and more as Zone Coverage returns to the Talk 2 Q Radio Show!

Relationship Week: Men vs. Women, Part II

Tue., Jun. 24th @ 10 PM EDT

Stream the show here

The summer will heat up as the new series continues! Men vs. Women will feature controversial topics that present themselves as a divide between the genders!

All of the things men and women debate will be up for discussion and you can be a part of it!

The first show a couple of days ago was awesome! A lot of participants on the phones, in the chat room, and on Twitter chimed in with their two cents.

I expect more of the same on this show as I present even more controversial topics to "shake things up" a bit.

The goal of the show is not to incite a riot (like most Men vs. Women shows do), but to spark a dialogue to help the genders understand one another just a little bit better. We will discuss topics like the following:

  • Why are some women usually late and unapologetic?
  • What should the opposite sex do more of?
  • Why do men have to have everything perfect before considering marriage?

These things and more as Men vs. Women Week concludes on the Talk 2 Q Radio Show!

Do We Need Fathers?

Mon., Jun. 16th @ 10 PM EDT

Stream the show here

Of course my answer is "absolutely." I can't imagine being the man that I am without my father helping to mold me. However, there are a lot of women who have done everything on their own. A lot of them have raised some really productive children, but a majority haven't been as lucky.

With so many women claiming "independence" and "I don't need a man" where do fathers fit in? With so many fathers living life as sperm donors, due to their lack of motivation, do they deserve to fit in?

No doubt this will be a controversial show. Especially since discussing why fathers deserve some birth rights tends to rub some women the wrong way.

Talk 2 @AimmeeKodachian

Sun., Jun. 8th @ 10 PM EDT

Stream the show here

I am joined tonight by the author of "Tears of Hope," Aimmee Kodachian! She reflects on her story of how a young Middle Eastern girl withstood 12 years of the Lebanese Civil War.

Forced out of school in the 4th grade she was persuaded into marriage at the young age of 14. A year later she would become a mother and ultimately single with no education, skills, money, or home.

After three close calls with death, she made her way to the United States in 1988 to start a new life for her and her daughter. She has now transformed herself from a 4th grader who battled dyslexia to an entrepreneur and motivational speaker!

I'll discuss her life in the Middle East and more on the Talk 2 Q Radio Show!

Who's Protecting Our Kids?

Tue., Jun. 3rd @ 10 PM EDT

Stream the show here

The question is easy to ask, but probably pretty difficult to answer for some. There are a lot of reasons why some kids go missing. But how much credit should go to the kidnapper and how much blame should go to the guardian? A parent/guardian should have one sole responsibility and that's to protect children at all costs. Where is the ball being dropped?

On this show, we'll discuss what can be done to offer children more protection from predators including those looking to abduct for sex slavery.

Also on the show, it's Episode #350 and it's BYOT!  Bring Your Own Topic!  My Show Legends will get an opportunity to bring a topic of their choice to tonight's show!

Gay Or Not Gay? #LGBT

Sun., Jun. 1st @ 10 PM EDT

Stream the show here

I know the title will rub some people the wrong way.  Some people may not get any further than the title and will miss the actual question.  For those who have read this far just hear me out a bit...

In 2014, being gay is still hard for some to accept, but there a lot of people are rolling with the idea. You see that each month with litigation being passed in favor of LGBT rights. However, there are still people who are curious about their mate's sexual orientation in regards to certain insecurities.

When a heterosexual couple dates, men are usually concerned about other guys trying to come onto to their woman.  Women are generally concerned about other ladies coming on to their guys.  But, if a man has a previous history or an affinity towards other men then a lady may feel insecure when both men and women are around him.  And vice versa for women with an affinity or history of dating other women.

It was always assumed that if you dated someone of the opposite sex that you didn't have to ask if another gender was involved.  In today's society with so many different ways to categorize sexual orientation, is it wrong to ask about dating habits and sexual preferences? If so, when is it to be asked? First date? Before intimacy?

We'll discuss that and more on what will probably be a controversial Talk 2 Q Radio Show!
