T2Q is on Hiatus until 5/30/17!

T2Q returns Tuesday, 5/30 at 9 PM Eastern!
How's it going, all?  Guess what?  T2Q has reached its 700th episode!  Because of that, I really want the show to be big.  That means that I'm going to need a lot of time to prepare for this particular episode.

So, when you think of that and factor in a trip to Oxford, MS this week and St. Louis, MO the following week, then you'll understand that I need some time to prepare.

However, I may try to drop a podcast or two in the meantime.  It really depends on if I can find a free moment or not.

But, I thank all of you for listening to the Talk 2 Q Radio Show and I hope to see you all tuned in on May 30th as we get into more topics that require "No experts.  Just opinions,"

"Hidden Figures" feat. Carmen Hendrix & Katherine Waddell

Duration: 81 mins.

It's Women's History Month and that means the Woman's Politico is back, but with a twist! I will be hosting it for the first time in its existence! But, the focus will still be on the ladies as I throw out some questions for two special guests!

On tonight's show, we'll discuss some of the things that may be holding women back in 2017. For example:
  • Why do ladies tend to stay in bad relationships?
  • Unlike the ladies of the story, "Hidden Figures", why are ladies so cutthroat when it comes to other ladies?
  • What are some of the struggles to women entrepreneurs?
Joining me tonight will be do it all, media mogul, Katherine Waddell of www.ThisNeedsToBeSaid.com and author/entrepreneur, Carmen Hendrix of www.CarmenHendrix.com!

What’s a bear to do when his friends and neighbors dare to attack his reputation? You see it is most hurtful not to be appreciated, especially when you’re a lovely, charming, gorgeous hunk of a bear. So when Dr. Pookie begins to receive unwanted attention in the local newspapers, he did what any intelligent, sophisticated, well-to-do bear would do.

Dr. Pookie invited all of his friends and neighbors up to the tippy top of Bear Mountain for a lovely dinner party. After all, there is nothing more delightful than to be entertained by the most famous bear in the Little Royal Forest.

In the children’s mystery adventure, Dr. Pookie and The Case of his Missing Thought, Dr. Pookie shares with his friends the exciting and curious tale of the time he lost his thought and the hilarious adventure that follows as he frantically searches for it. Q-on-1 with Musician, Lee Brown

For Abby and Libby
I have a talk with musician, Lee Brown, to discuss a tragedy that occurred just weeks ago in Indiana.

Duration: 18 mins.

On Valentine's Day, the bodies of two teen girls were found on the hiking trails of Delphi, IN. The man who is suspected of killing Abby Williams and Libby German is on the loose. One of the girls was brave enough to turn on her phone and get a photo of the man as well as capture his voice. His face can be seen and his voice can be heard here.

For the town of Delphi, it's a very small community (approx. 3,000 people), so everyone pretty much knows everyone. That's where Lee comes in. He wants to make a difference and not only raise money for the families of the victims, but also raise awareness to track down the man who committed this cowardly act.

Lee managed to put together a compilation music album with various artist from the small community and surrounding community. ALL proceeds will be going to the families. The album will be distributed world wide on all major online retailers as well as hard copies available in the community and can be ordered. The sister of one of the victims is actually creating the album cover.  You can be a part of this as well by e-mailing Lee at RealRedRoomRecords@gmail.com.

Tragedy can strike anywhere, so let's all rally around the town of Delphi, IN and show them some love. I hope that this podcast inspires you help someone in need today. Thanks.

#T2Q Welcomes Shae Primus!

Shae joins T2Q on Tue., Jan. 31st @ 9 PM ET! (347) 202-0215
I'm joined by the Atlanta matchmaker to discuss black women and dating.

Stream the show here!

Shae Primus is a certified matchmaker and dating coach at Middle Class Matchmaker.  I recently came across something that was posted in a group about her opinion on black women and dating.  The post stated that black women need to stop excluding options when it comes to love.

And that exclusion includes men who may experienced same-sex relationships.

We've had the discussion before on the show and many women have stated that they would not give a man a chance to date them if he's had same-sex relationships in the past.  Shae believes that women should dig deeper to find out if those tendencies are truly a thing of that guy's past or not before writing him off.

She also mentioned not having a car, making enough money, or having too many children shouldn't be a deterrent either.  Doing so could have you missing out on a blessing like a Barrack Obama or Denzel Washington.  Michelle and Pauletta invested in their men and they've been winning ever since.

I'll ask Shae about how she got started in her career and what her goal is ultimately.  Then we'll get into some of her thoughts on what black women can do to enhance their opportunities at finding love.

All of these things and more on the Talk 2 Q Radio Show!  "No experts.  Just opinions."

OC Lou Rossi Joins ZC! / #NFL Conference 2017

Thu., Jan. 25th @ 9 PM ET. (347) 202-0215 to listen!
Tonight, you'll get a 2-for-1 on Zone Coverage!

Stream the show here!

I'm rejoined by the offensive coordinator of the new Cam-Am Indoor football team, Niagara Spartans, Lou Rossi!  Lou will mix it up with me and the Show Legends to discuss the newly formed league and what to expect from their inaugural season in 2017.

After the interview with Lou, the Show Legends and I will break down the AFC and NFC Conference Championships.

Neither game was what I would consider a good game, but the winning teams put on amazing offense displays of power that we can look forward to in February.

The Steelers weren't able to get to Tom Brady like they planned and it costed them.  Chris Hogan made a name for himself as he ran wild through the Steelers zone defense.  Could Pittsburgh have done anything differently that could have led to the "W"?

The Packers used up all of their magic dust on the Cowboys last week because they had nothing left for Atlanta.  Matt Ryan threw for 2 miles and most of it went to Julio Jones who stiff-armed Packer DB's like Marshawn Lynch.  Did the injuries catch up with the Pack or did the offense let them down?

All of these things and more as Zone Coverage returns to T2Q!  "Talk sports from the couch!"
