Are Men Supposed To Pay Your Bills?

When a man is in a relationship or married, is it his duty to pay a woman's bills?

Play on your favorite listening platform here!

Duration: 50 minutes.

T2Q kicks off Season 10 with a relationship topic that will leave a lot of people heated!  Are men responsible for paying a woman's bills when it comes to a relationship or marriage?

Quite a few of today's women will tell you that the life that grandma and grandpa had 50+ years ago no longer exists today.  Women and men are supposed to be equals in the household.  He cooks and cleans just as she cooks and cleans.

But, some of those same women want to hold onto the grandma/grandpa approach to finances.  They think that men are supposed to pay for dates.  Some even think that men are supposed to contribute and/or pay all of her bills as well.

Are some ladies picking and choosing what's traditional and what's not?

We'll discuss that and more on the Talk 2 Q Radio Show! "No experts. Just opinions."

There are so many things that a boy should learn if he is to be a productive member of society, but I will discuss seven of them in this podcast episode.

How To Stay In A Relationship

It's easy to get them, but can you keep them?

Watch it on YouTube here.

Play on your favorite listening platform here.

Duration: 45 minutes.

When it comes to relationships, mutual attraction is the easy part.  We see someone and like we something about them and they like something about us.  That's usually as far as some people get in most relationships these days.  They just scratch the surface.  They fail to make that deeper connection that results in a lifetime bond.

There are so many obstacles that block people from achieving a successful union.  A lot of those obstacles we can remove ourselves if we identify what they are.

It's been some years since I've had them on, but Marrie and Suzie rejoin the show to talk about what it takes to maintain the health of your relationship/marriage.

Join Me On Dope Discussions Live!

I get to be on the answering side of the questions again!

WATCH on YouTube.

I get to make another appearance on Dope Discussions Live as I join Erica, Gator, Queen Cole, and Mz. Tee to talk about code switching!

What is code switching?  That's when a person adjusts their vernacular and conduct depending on the group of people he/she is around.  For example: a black man may be introduced to another black man and "give him dap" upon exchanging greetings.  That same black man may extend his hand for a hand shake with a white man instead.

Should people code switch?  We'll discuss that and more on DDL!  Check it out!

Catch Me On Royal Tea TV!

I am thankful for the chance to appear on Royal Tea TV to give my two cents on a variety of topics!

WATCH on FB Watch.

Debra "Queen" Cole sent the invite and I took it and ran with it!  I joined her and a guest on the Facebook Live edition of Royal Tea TV!

We discussed the following topics on the show:

  • Should British black actors play American black actors?  Are we seeing an influx of British black actors taking roles from American black actors?  Is that a problem in Hollywood or not?  Should heterosexual actors play gay roles or should Hollywood cast someone from the LGBT community?
  • Should you lend your significant other money?  If you're in a relationship and your boo runs into some financial hardship, are you to float him/her until they can get back on their feet?
I hope that you will watch and support your boy!
