Does Pride In Appearance Matter?

Is it fair to judge someone by their outfit?  Do you care what people think about how you dress?

Listen on your favorite podcasting platform here.

We now live during a time where our attire is based more on comfort than it is style.  Outfits that were once reserved for Walmart after 1 AM are now on display almost anywhere at any time of the day.

What changed?  Why is it that our presentation no longer requires real effort anymore?  Did we put too much thought into looking a certain way for other people's satisfaction?

We'll discuss things like that as well as celebrity fashion influencers like Harry Style and Lizzo.  We'll also get into what to wear on a first date on this episode of the Talk 2 Q Radio Show!

Got Veg?

On this special Q-on-1 podcast, I chat with vegan lifestyle expert, Esosa!

This interview was recorded back in 2015, but only the audio was released.  So, this episode of T2Q is not a live one, but the premiere of a video from back in the day that has never been seen.  My show airs live every week, but I took this week off to celebrate my fiancee's birthday.  Priorities, right?

So, enjoy this episode of the first video interview I ever did for the Talk 2 Q Radio Show and I'll see you back live and in-person next week!

When she's not acting, designing, or producing, she's posting on her health blog, "Raw Girl in A Toxic World."  Her site gives readers access to vegan recipes as well as insights and inspiration to healthy living.

I'll ask her about how she got started with her healthy living and I'll inquire about her mission to influence others!  We'll also discuss how she got started on her TV show, "An African City."

All and this and more on the Talk 2 Q Radio Show!

Esosa E is a raw vegan lifestyle expert. After receiving an undergraduate degree from Cornell University and completing business studies at Columbia University, her personal health crises and battle with acne led her to change her lifestyle and begin avid studies of holistic health in 2007.

After being vegan for over ten years, Esosa finally felt she tapped into her full potential when she began eating a diet largely comprised of raw foods which helped her heal her acne and cleanse from parasites.

She is the host of "Healthy Living in a Toxic World," a radio show now available on BlogTalkRadio and is also the author of “The Acne-Free Diet,” an e-book guide to overcoming acne for life.

Outside of her passion for health, Esosa is an award-winning actress, writer, filmmaker, and model. Her mission is to make raw and vegan lifestyles accessible to anyone interested in achieving optimal health.

"Single" Wives

What's the point of getting married if you still have to do everything by yourself?

Listen on your favorite podcasting platform here.

There are a lot of single women who take care of themselves 100%.  They pay their own bills, handle their own car maintenance, perform their own chores, etc.  It's something that has to be done out of necessity when one lives alone.

However, once they get married and enter a partnership, shouldn’t some of those things change? Shouldn’t a man take over some of those responsibilities?

There are a lot of women out there who are married, but are still having to wear a cape in order to get through daily life because they may have a lazy husband or a selfish one.  What happens when he makes you a "single" wife?

We’ll get into that and more on tonight’s Talk 2 Q Radio Show. No experts. Just opinions.

I was a guest on Porch Time with Ms. McKinney and we had a great time!

Listen to the episode here!

Ms. McKinney was gracious enough to invite me to her platform and I truly enjoyed the conversation with her about dating and relationships.  She made me feel very comfortable "on the porch" as I ended up disclosing parts of my dating history that I've never disclosed publicly before.

I hope that you enjoy the conversation and that you subscribe to her and come back for more!

You can find her podcast on Anchor here as well as other podcasting platforms (Spotify, Google, etc.).

What Is The "Critical Race Theory"?

Is Critical Race Theory the end of White America and that's why so many people oppose its teachings?

Listen on your favorite podcasting platform here.

Critical race theory (CRT) is defined as a body of legal scholarship and an academic movement of civil-rights scholars and activists in the United States who seek to critically examine the intersection of race and U.S. law and to challenge mainstream American liberal approaches to racial justice.

But FOX News thinks that course is the new boogeyman.  It appears that most of their talking heads think that to teach this theory is to imply that white people are inherently evil.  The pro-CRT people are stating that it's just showing how racism from the past still impacts society today.  And by acknowledging that, we can make strides to fix the problems.

Whose side are you on regarding CRT?

Get the perspectives from my chat room participants, callers and Show Legends on this edition of the Talk 2 Q Radio Show.  "No experts.  Just opinions."

Baby Mama vs. Bonus Mama

Listen on your favorite podcasting platform here.

Blending a family together these days is a lot more complicated than when the Brady Bunch did it in the 70's...

With the number of single parents increasing with each passing year, it's a lot more rare these days to meet someone without kids.  And the older you are the more that possibility increases.  So there's a good chance that a woman's next boyfriend may have a child already.

So how can the new girlfriend manage to have a relationship with the guy's child(ren) without alienating the mother?  Because the only way things are going to work is for everyone to be accepting and respectful of each other, right?

But what if that doesn't happen?  How do you make it work?
  • Does the bonus mama make the effort to reach out to the baby mama and be friends?
  • What exactly is the bonus mama's role with the kids?
  • How does the father play a role in all of this?
These things and more on this episode of the Talk 2 Q Radio Show!  "No experts.  Just opinions."
