Talk 2 @TheNLVampire Author, Charles O'Keefe

Tue., Oct. 29th @ 10 PM ET

Stream the show here!

For this T2Q Halloween Special, I am joined by author of "The Newfoundland Vampire" series, Charles O'Keefe!

Despite "The Walking Dead" and "World War Z," vampires are still the most popular of the undead!  Charles O'Keefe adds to that fascination with his writings!  We'll discuss his books, North America's interests with vampires and more!

After the interview, we'll also discuss other "scary" topics:

- the scariest horror movie of all-time
- scary things that occur in relationships
- at what age does your child stop sleeping in your bed when scared?
- and probably my favorite: if you had to choose a horror movie to describe your ex boyfriend/girlfriend, then what would it be?

These things and more on the Talk 2 Q Radio Show Boo-tacular!

Ira Parker, Super Engineer! @MaximusMusic

"Super Engineer," Ira Parker
Tue., Oct. 22nd @ 10 PM ET

Stream the show here

I've talked about Hip-Hop on my show numerous times and I've criticized modern artists very heavily.  One of the main criticisms that I have is that a lot of today's artists don't appear to have a background in music.  In my personal opinion, in order to produce the best sound, you have to have a taste for good music.  That includes having an ear for different genres.

How can one excel in creating a unique, new sound in Hip-Hop if all you've ever listened to in your life is Hip-Hop?  Where are the influences like Run DMC had with Aerosmith, Public Enemy had with Anthrax, or Ice-T had with Curtis Mayfield?

Well, my guest on this show understands the importance of having an ear for all kinds of music.  Ira Parker, music producer and engineer, has dabbled in Jazz, Classical, Country, and Pop as well as R&B and Hip-Hop.  He has engineered or mixed artists like Treach, from Naughty By Nature, Waka Flocka Flame, Slim from 112, Lauryn Hill and more.

I will discuss his current projects, ultimate career goals, and the state of Hip-Hop as he joins the show for the first 30 minutes.  After the interview, I will discuss the following with my Show Legends, callers, and chat room participants:

If Healthcare was tied into the public school system, then would more parents be involved in preventing their children from dropping out?  Could we kill two birds with one stone on a proposal as such?

You Love Me For True?

Tue., Oct. 15th @ 10 PM ET

Stream the show here!

We've taken simple concepts and make them complex over the past couple of decades. We've made them complex because as a society we're too lazy to do things the old fashioned way.

We take the short cut to every thing, hence the accurate title of "Microwave Society." This especially includes relationships. We've turned girlfriends into "wifeys" and "baby daddies" into "hubbys." We've gone from "dating" someone to "dealing with them." To top it off, people don't know what kind of relationship they're actually in because they're afraid to ask!

On this show, I will tell you what you need to do to get on the same page with whoever it is you're "dealing with" in your life at the present time.

Also on the show, we'll discuss the tragedy of Adrian Peterson losing his son to the child's mother's boyfriend.  What can you do to make sure your significant other isn't abusive to your children?  Should all relationships require a background check for your personal safety?  Some people think so.

Marriage Deadline: Age 30 with @ThereGoesMel & @BelleUnplugged

Tue., Oct. 8th @ 10 PM ET

Listen to the show here!

Even though society has progressed quite a bit, daughters are still taught to grow up and get married. Finding that elusive prince is something that many women seek to do as soon as they're old enough to put on a training bra.

However, what do you do when it doesn't happen soon enough for you? When you hit 30, is that biological clock really ticking? Should you be ashamed of going to weddings alone while your friends "jump the broom?"

Joining me to discuss this will be two of my favorite Twitter followers: Laniece and Melanie! They are both single, under-30 and eager to contribute to the conversation!

I'll ask if there's pressure from friends/family, the impact on self-esteem, or if being single and pressured can cause desperation in settling for less in a mate.

We'll discuss that and more on the Talk 2 Q Radio Show!

300 Sandwiches = 1 Engagement Ring

Wed., Oct. 2nd @ 10 PM ET
Listen to the show here!

Stephanie Smith made a sandwich for her boyfriend and he absolutely loved it. In fact, he loved it so much that he told her that she was 300 sandwiches away from an engagement ring.

Stephanie took that as a challenge and is now 124 sandwiches away from getting engaged to her boyfriend, Eric. Each sandwich is different and not only is she having fun with the challenge and her new blog, she's also learning more about her husband's taste.

However, of course there is backlash to what seems to be a harmful challenge that's gone viral on Twitter. Feminist think that Smith has set women back 50 years by "doing what her man wants to get a ring."

Is that true?  Voice your opinion in the chat room or on the phone as we dive into it!

We'll discuss that and more on the Talk 2 Q Radio Show!
