I remember in the '80's when the only people you saw with tattoos were gang members and soldiers. They used to represent something, but now, I'm not so sure.

Now you see tatts on kids not even old enough to vote. Have they lost their intended meaning? Is it more about being an accessory to clothing rather than representing something?

Also on tonight's show, we'll discuss urban modeling. Some call it curvy modeling, but whatever the title, it's more popular than ever. But, is it taken seriously?  Is the fact that the "girl next door" quality that these ladies have allow almost anyone to dub herself as "a model?"

Dr. Dre donated $35 million dollars to USC and some black people are upset that he didn't donate it to a black college.  We'll get into that as well.

On tonight's show, we'll discuss speed dating with relationship blogger, Marrie Lobel!

A lot of people are unaware of the rules of speed dating and why it's so popular.  Speed dating  is a formalized matchmaking process or dating system whose purpose is to encourage people to meet a large number of new people.

It started back in the late 90's and has really picked up steam!  Marrie will give us some insight on that along with other relationship topics:

- Does wanting a man to be financially equal or greater than her make a woman a gold digger?
- Is there a downside to dating multiple people at the same time?
- What type of people can you expect to meet?

All of these things and more on the Talk 2 Q Radio Show!

Education Doesn't Equal Intelligence

We've all been told that education is the key to success. That may be true in most cases, but is it true to someone who may lack common sense?

Let's face it: there are plenty of people in this world, namely politicians, who are book smart, but lack the common sense child or have the morals of a wolf.

Does it really matter how smart you are if you don't know how to apply it? Can you be smart enough to build a car, but dumb enough to not be able to start it?

Also on the show, we'll discuss rap and how the new school has forgotten the old school.

On this show, I'm joined by author, Hannah Spivey, to discuss the age old problem of bullying. Hannah has a book on bullying and abuse named "Ebony the Beloved" and it features a young girl dealing with problems with her peers.

In today's society, bullying is a lot more mainstream and has even found its way into social networking. Tonight, Hannah and I will discuss her book and the inspiration behind it.

I'll also throw some questions at my callers on what options the target of bullies/abusers have when it comes to resolving these issues and what adults can do to help protect children from abuse and bullying.

We'll also get into some current event topics on the Talk 2 Q Radio Show!

We'll also get into Steve Harvey's 90-day rule, the downside to bragging on your partner's sex skills and how many positions are needed in the bedroom on a regular basis?

T2Q welcomes Ms. Onta to give some sexy, spoken word at the beginning of the show!  She is a wordsmith who vividly paints a mental piece of artwork that everyone would love to bring to reality in the bedroom!

Gay Rights vs. (Black) Civil Rights #LGBT

Monday, May 6th @ 10 PM EDT
Call-In #: (347) 202-0215
Stream the show from here!
(Chat room available during live airing)

Is it wrong to be indifferent about if gays or blacks getting rights? Is it a "you're either for us or against us mentality?" We'll discuss that as well as comparisons to blacks getting their civil rights in the 60's to what gays are trying to do now.

Also on the list of topics to discuss will be sibling rivalries. It's understandable when it comes to children, but what happens when it occurs with adults? What can make a grown person so upset that they do not even want to deal with their brother/sister?

We'll also discuss how it's cool to be stupid in the U.S. We place more emphasis on foolishness than any other country. Should parenting classes be mandatory in high school?

Lastly, there will be a political discussion given that local elections for Mayor is going on here.

I grew up watching Muhammad Ali, Larry Holmes, Sugar Ray Leonard and other greats. I never thought that the sport would die out with my generation.

Well, that's exactly what's happening. UFC is the new boxing and boxing is rendering itself irrelevant with greedy promoters and lame Pay-Per-View events. Tonight, I'll bring on two boxing historians. Brothers, Brian and Kevin Young will talk about the glory days and how boxing can return to prominence.

We'll also discuss any other sports topics that may come up as we do it Zone Coverage style!
