Sippin' & Trippin' About Marriage

Is marriage really hard?

Duration: 42 minutes.

Watch on FB Live or on YouTube Live!

PLAY on your favorite listening platform.

I'm doing something different for this Q-on-1 edition of T2Q.  This episode is going to be a little more informal (if you can believe that).  I'm going to kick back and not just enjoy my conversation with my guest, but also sip a little adult beverage in the process.

Meg the TrillWineWife, as she's known on Instagram, will join the show!  She is a wine enthusiasts who shares her passion for libations on social media.  Now she's sharing them with me!  Meg has suggested a couple of wines for me to try (on the air).  The wines we have will be from a black-owned winery as we close out Black History Month.  She turned me into a wine searcher as I drove all over the Jackson Metro area trying to find two particular types, but I have them!

I'll ask Meg the following as we sip on OPP and Love Drunk:

  • How does she manage her daily schedule with a husband, kids, and personal life?
  • Is marriage hard?
  • Are the sacrifices that people make in marriage difficult?
And of course, we'll discuss wines as we taste some on the air!  It will be a fun and entertaining show!

Understanding Independent Women

Are men really intimidated by an independent woman?

Duration: 42 minutes.

PLAY on your favorite listening platform.

We men have heard so many women claim that independent women scare us for some reason.  I personally don't believe that to be the case, but I've never asked a woman's perspective on it.  What exactly does it mean to be a strong, independent woman?  What are things to expect when dating a strong woman?

I figured who would be better to ask than Cary Thomas of the Camouflaged Beauty Podcast?

Cary is a military veteran and that alone automatically proves her toughness and discipline.  She is the type of person that a lot of people would consider as being "strong".  How do you guys look at her because of that?  Do men avoid her because they feel as if they can't live up to her expectations?

I'll ask her about that, the definition of singleness, and more on this Q-on-1 edition of the Talk 2 Q Radio Show!

$15 Minimum Wage: Good Or Bad?

Is minimum wage going to $15 an hour?   If so, how will that impact the economy?

Duration: 74 minutes

PLAY on your favorite listening platform.

There have been proposals to raise minimum wage to $15/hour in increments by 2025.  I'm all for people making more money, but what kind of impact would this move have on everyone not making minimum wage?

Will there not be an impact felt on the workers who make minimum wage in New York?  How will their lives compare to the workers who make minimum wage in Missouri?  And what about the people who make $16/hour?  Will they get incremental increases as well or will companies avoid giving them raises to compensate for a higher minimum wage?

So many questions to throw out to my Show Legends.  Let's see what they have to say on this episode of the Talk 2 Q Radio Show.  "No experts.  Just opinions."

I Joined The Camouflaged Beauty Podcast!

I am thankful for the opportunity to appear on the Camouflaged Beauty Podcast to provide a man's perspective on relationships.

PLAY the episode on iOS.
PLAY the episode on Android.

Duration: 47 minutes.

The gracious host of the Camouflaged Beauty podcast, Cary Thomas, gave me an opportunity to do something that I don't normally do... and that's to be on the receiving end of questions!

Now, this was not an interview.  Instead, it was a great conversation on how men and women view relationships.  And what better time to do it than during the Single Awareness Day Weekend (Valentine's Day).

I was able to provide her with an inside look into a man's mind and how some of us approach certain relationship scenarios such as:

  • Why do guys feel as if they have to cheat?
  • Is dating a big competition?
  • Is being raised in a two-parent household vs. a single-parent household better when it comes to dating?
Those are just a few of the amazing topics that we discuss on her show.

I also will happily admit that I learned a ton of things from Cary as well.  She is very articulate in describing a woman's thought process.  As we were in the middle of recording, I could already envision some lady listeners hearing the show and nodding in agreement with Cary on so many of her responses to my answers.

Let me know what you think of the episode in the comments below or shoot me an e-mail over to Talk2QNow@gmail.com

Cary will be a guest on T2Q on Tuesday, February 23rd @ 7 PM Central Time.  Join our discussion on Facebook Live or YouTube Live and interact with us!

I'm joined by two podcasting heavy hitters who discuss what men truly think about Valentine's Day.

Do men look at the lover's holiday a lot differently than women?  We think so.  V-Day doesn't mean as much to us as it does to women.  So, the purpose of this episode is to allow women into the minds of men to understand where we stand when it comes to Cupid Day.

I'm joined by George "Gator" Livous of the Down 5 and Dope Discussions With Erica podcasts and James Lampkin of Conversations With Lamp podcast.

The WMT series will continue in the future on different topics. I always encourage the guys to speak freely and get everything they want to say out on these podcasts. Please be sure to support my guests by visiting the links below!

What Women Think About Valentine's Day

This podcast series is designed to allow women to have a opinionated platform unchallenged by the fellas.

Duration: 38 minutes.

I'm joined by three ladies to discuss what women truly think about Valentine's Day and what it means to them.  Some ladies look at the holiday like a "Queen For A Day" event.  Some have high expectations of men when it comes to receiving gifts at the job.  Some believe that the amount of time you date determines the level of effort put into pleasing them on V-Day.

Are their beliefs in alignment with men?  Nope.  But, we'll compare the differences in an attempt to help the guys step up their game!

I'm joined by Kiah Mims of the Eyes Wide Open Podcast, Erica Warren of Dope Discussions With Erica podcast, and Christina of the Check In Check Out Podcast
