Just about all of us at some point of our lives have fallen for someone who isn't local. Maybe it was a summer love who stayed with his/her grandmother for a few months, but ultimately had to return home. Or maybe someone you met in college who had to return out of state after graduation.

What do you do? Do you call it quits? Do you try to compete with the people vying for their attention locally? Will it ultimately affect your trust or have an affect on your bank account from traveling? Most people think that it's impossible to maintain a long distance relationship for long term.

There are some things that aren't the norm that we accept as the norm. We get conditioned to certain things and after a while we expect it despite the fact that it's not the ideal way. Even though we should expect better we accept what's given to us because we're conditioned for it.

The same goes for men and cheating. Some misguided women tend to believe that being with a man means that you have to accept certain things. One of them is cheating. And the more popular, rich, and/or powerful the man is then the more cheating is okay for him.

Time for me and the Show Legends to educate the listeners! Or do they think that cheating really does come with the territory?

The Oxford Dictionary Word of the Year for 2014 is "vape." What is that exactly? Some describe it as an "inhaler or 'non-combustible' cigarette, looking much like the real thing, but delivering a metered dose of nicotine vapor."

Why should it matter to you? Because like other recreational activities (that can be habit forming) like smoking or drinking, you need to know what's out there. It could be a way to slowly wean yourself off of cigarettes or just something to do to have a good time and relax.

To learn more about it I've asked vape shop manager, Jennifer Hongphao to join me on the show and educate the listeners on what is driving people to her local Vape House in Des Moines, Iowa.

We've heard the old, country song called "Stand by Your Man."

The phrase essentially means that a woman shows her loyalty to her man by standing with him through hard times. All of that sounds fine and dandy, but what if hubby just does something extremely stupid?

What about Bill Clinton cheating on Hillary and making a national spectacle out of the White House? Did he deserve to have Hillary stand by his side at the press conferences? What about Kobe Bryant being accused of raping a woman in Vail, CO? Even though he didn't go to jail, he did cheat on his wife. She sat beside him during press conferences as he misled the media into thinking he didn't do anything wrong (legally or morally).

At what point is a woman to wash her hands of a dude and move on?

Why?

I remember turning on the TV and seeing Public Enemy's "Fight The Power" video for the first time. I was mesmerized as a 16-year old to see the power within the video of a group of people coming together for a united front. Even at such an early age I recognized what that video meant to me as a black teen. It meant that there was still work to do to being about equality in the United States among the races.

That's just one of many songs that has had some sort of impact on my life. Some songs remind me of a great time that I had. Some remind me of someone I once loved. Some educate me like "Fight the Power" and many other Public Enemy songs did.

I decided to replace tonight's schedule show with this discussion on Ferguson. Once again, the country is divided by the court. People are mad in some areas of the country while other people are relived. In the end, a story that has repeated itself for decades comes to the usual conclusion: a black man dies at the hands of a white cop.

Now, I'm not saying who is innocent or who is different in all of this. Because contrary to what people believe this case is nothing like the Trayvon Martin / George Zimmerman fiasco. People need to be able to see these cases for what they are and examine all evidence.

Tonight, I'm going to do something a little different: I'm not going to have prepared questions to throw out to my Show Legends like I normally do. I'm not going to be quick to "push the buzzer" on someone who may be long-winded as long as they're making their point. Tonight will be an open forum to discuss what happens now.

I'm a huge fan of the two ABC dramas "Scandal" and "How to Get Away With Murder." Both shows offer extremely creative writing, polarizing characters, and enough sexual tension to put Cinemax to shame. They are easily the two most popular shows on TV.

But, I know what you're thinking to yourself: "But, Q. There are so many shady characters on these shows. Including the lead characters. Olivia Pope is a side chick and Annalise Keating is lawyer that practices dirty tactics on the regular. How can either of these two, yet alone the other characters, inspire us?

So many people in the world are afraid. There are a lot of reasons to be afraid at times. Ebola is spreading. War and terrorism is always on the horizon. The list goes on.  By now you've either seen or heard of the terrorizing clown from "American Horror Story" that people have talked about.  I didn't post the photo of the clown because I personally know some followers who would have a stroke in front of their laptop if they saw it.  However, that clown and a Facebook friend's post prompted this show on things people fear that many of us are unaware of.

What about unconventional things that scare a certain group of people? Sure, we know about people being afraid of heights, or snakes, or things of that nature. But, I'm talking about people who are afraid of colors, bathing, sleeping, or even yes, God forbid, having a fear of opinions! That's a real thing.

Wow. It's a long, long way from Episode 1 back in February of 2011. What started as a 15 minute rant about Rush Limbaugh has turned into a 90 minute show that has recorded roughly 150,000 listens. All I can do is say "thank you" to all of you who made it possible.

I've interviewed 40 people since show #300 and all of them were special in their own way. Whether it was a reality TV star or a star the interviews were a lot of fun. It makes me feel really good about the show to not only know that everyday people listen, but that celebrities want to be a part of T2Q as well. It's always great to have stars on now and then.

What's Morally Wrong in Relationships?

It's one thing to walk the straight and narrow legally, but how many of us do it morally? Especially when it comes to relationships. The way to tell that you are a good person is to do the right thing when no one is looking. That doesn't apply to a lot of people in this country.

Break ups create anger which complicates doing the right thing. Lust and emotions can also put a strain on getting it right. A guy buys a woman new boobs and she breaks up with him a week later. Is she at least obligated to pay for half? Some may even say all?

A man marks his calendar in anticipation of a neighborhood girl's 18th birthday so he can legally sleep with her. Perv or someone doing the legally right thing?

That concept worked for my father, his father and so on. It was taught to me. Sometimes you don't need a particular reason to do certain things because "that's what a man is supposed to do."

"The Game Is to be Sold, Not Told!" I'm sure that many old schoolers are familiar with that saying.
This show is tailor-made for M&M. Although we know that it's against "the code" to give "the game" away, this is a discussion that needs to be had. There are so many strategies that women and men use to gain leverage in relationships. Now, of course no success relationship will have someone trying to gain leverage, but that's a topic for another show.

"The Game" is a term use to insinuate that the person you're pursuing for a relationship is merely a play thing. A toy. Someone you're simply looking to get something out of for your own personal gain. That can be money, sex, or maybe even long-term companionship.

However, none of those things come easily for everyone. Even if you're lucky enough to achieve all of that it comes with a price: a lot of hard work and time. It can even be overwhelming to a lot of people. Especially when you have loved ones depending on you.

Should Our #Troops Be Home Fighting #Crime?

There is a huge crime wave going across the country. Chicago, Jackson, Oakland and the entire state of Florida to name a few. Burglaries, assaults, murders galore. The police force isn't large enough to stop what's going on and the government appears to be too corrupt to seriously do anything about the problem either. Aren't the troops the answer? Why should they walk the neighborhood streets of the Middle East when they could be doing that here in the states? One of the biggest deterrents of crime is police visibility. With a shortage of police across most of the country wouldn't it work out better if the police worked in conjunction with the military?

We'll discuss the pros and cons of the idea. Also on the show, we'll have to figure out who will be a part of our future military because reports show that 71% of kids 17 - 24 years old wouldn't be eligible for the military. They either lack a high school diploma, they're convicted felons, hooked on ADHD drugs, and more. Who will protect our country in the future if the kids these days are too unqualified?

Keith's IMDB bio: Keith Robinson was born in Kentucky and grew up in Greenville, South Carolina. He later moved to Augusta and graduated from Lakeside High School. He attended the University of Georgia and, while there, signed a recording contract with Motown Records, but that label never issued any of his material. 

Robinson's role as C.C. White in Dreamgirls (2006), which includes a Robinson-led version of the song "Family," was a breakout song.
