I know the title will rub some people the wrong way.  Some people may not get any further than the title and will miss the actual question.  For those who have read this far just hear me out a bit...

In 2014, being gay is still hard for some to accept, but there a lot of people are rolling with the idea. You see that each month with litigation being passed in favor of LGBT rights. However, there are still people who are curious about their mate's sexual orientation in regards to certain insecurities.

When a heterosexual couple dates, men are usually concerned about other guys trying to come onto to their woman.  Women are generally concerned about other ladies coming on to their guys.  But, if a man has a previous history or an affinity towards other men then a lady may feel insecure when both men and women are around him.  And vice versa for women with an affinity or history of dating other women.

It was always assumed that if you dated someone of the opposite sex that you didn't have to ask if another gender was involved.  In today's society with so many different ways to categorize sexual orientation, is it wrong to ask about dating habits and sexual preferences? If so, when is it to be asked? First date? Before intimacy?

We'll discuss that and more on what will probably be a controversial Talk 2 Q Radio Show!
