I hate to even put a spotlight on this new phenomenon called "wubbing," but I can't resist talking about it. Wubbing is one of the newest and peculiar dances on the scene these days. You have to look at a photo or video to understand it, but I'll do my best to describe it:
It's a prop that fits in the crotch area of your pants and hangs down like an extremely large penis. It appears to be made of foam rubber, so it looks like a decorative pillow that droops down. The dancers do suggestive moves with it in the form of a dance routine. Those moves may include "sword fighting" with other "wubbers" (I have no idea if that's what they're called), it can include someone getting on their knees in front of it and getting "sprayed" with the dangling object, and many other lewd acts (according to what a dancer in the video I saw quoted from his local police department).
There have been talk ever since black men starting sagging their jeans of a conspiracy theory. The theory basically states that between prison life (rape), sagging pants, rappers getting nails/hair done, etc., that White America wants to feminize the black male youth.
I have no idea if that's actually true or not. However, I do know this: more black male youths partake in traditionally feminine acts than I've seen in my 42 years on this planet that's for sure.
